Format

The 2022 Swiss Disc Golf Championships will be held as an invitational tournament and is sanctioned as a PDGA-XB Tier. The latest rules of the PDGAapply.

3 rounds with 18 holes will be played (shotgun start). The top 8 players in MPO and MP40 and the top 4 players in all other divisions will play a final round with 9 holes.

The final and medal rounds will be played with sudden death playoff on holes 1, 17 and 18. If the tie still exists, CTP on hole 1 will decide.


Wildcards

All clubs receive a wildcard for free allocation. No rating restrictions apply to these wildcards. Wildcards of the clubs have to be entered before the end of the second stage, after that they will be given to players on the waiting list.

Wildcards have to be entered per Email before 22.08.22.


Registration

Registration is by division and PDGA rating in 3 stages. The registration takes place via Discgolfmetrix. The registration is only valid after receipt of the player fee. The player fee is CHF 30 for juniors and CHF 60 for all other divisions.

Both a valid SDA annual license and PDGA license are required to participate. Swiss citizenship is required; equal rights are granted to foreigners residing in Switzerland who have been resident in Switzerland for at least 3 years, of which the last 2 years must be uninterrupted.

Disc golf is typically played without the supervision of a referee or umpire.
