The Chili Open has always been a team effort. Two decades have passed since the first birdies in spring 2003 and nobody knew what this small event on a temporary course would become. Only one thing has always been clear: the chili is hot and spicy.
The Grüttpark is in fact the Red Hot Chili Putters Disc Golf Land! It all started with this vision of Diesel and Günni.
Armed with the spirit of the Allschwil forest, this park was the perfect place for the Basel crew to develop the sport of disc golf in the region with love.
The crew from Lörrach and the surrounding area lives and breathes disc golf. The park is their home, and the bright minds and eager hands of DGL lovingly take care of the course, leading the Chili Open into the next decade.
